If you are in the above under/over age groups you must complete an 'out of age' form |
Notes:
- The Club prefers that players register in their correct age groups and will not as a matter of course approve 'out of age'.
- The Club will consider requests to play 1 year above the correct age group - 1 year underage
- The by-laws of the STJFL allow for a player to play up to 2 years above their correct age group - 2 years underage
- the Club must seek approval from the STJFL for an U08 player to play more than 1 year above their correct age.
- In some circumstances the STJFL may approve Over Age players - 1 year overage
- If your child is 1 year older than the correct age (overage) or 2 years younger than the correct age (underage) for U08 you should contact the Club President or Registrar before registering.
- Restrictions apply to the registration of players born in the first 3 months of U13 to U16 age limits.
- All registered players must be born on or after 01-Oct-1993 in most circumstances.
- For Auskick
- players from last year who turn 7 this year (born in 2003) may register for U08's as an 'out of age' player. They must play in U08's next year
- players older than 7 may also register for Auskick

Insurance U08-U16
The Australian Football National Risk Protection Program ("the Program"), arranged by JLT Sport, has been up and running since 2004. This joint initiative of the AFL and its state bodies has seen a number of benefits provided to football clubs throughout each state and territory. It is considered that every club now has access to cover at an affordable and consistent price. The Program’s goal is to provide sustainable cover and a long term solution and peace of mind for this and future seasons.
The Program provides competitively broad protection across the following areas:
- Combined General & Products Liability (including Errors & Omissions Liability – for coaches, umpires and trainers only)
- Club Management Liability (applicable only to incorporated clubs)
- Personal Accident cover for Capital Benefits, Non Medicare Medical Expenses and Loss of Income (optional)
A further benefit of the Program is the easy access to coverage details via this web site and the 2008 Web site which provides an easy to read summary of benefits. This web site provides access to the policy documents and Product Disclosure Statement (where applicable) and the JDT Scheme Rules (Personal Accident) for your perusal before you make your decision to continue with cover under the Program.
Members who use the web site will enjoy the benefit of direct access to claims information including ‘How to Make a Claim’.
Download personal injury claim forms directly from the site or contact JLT Sport for assistance.
